Socialite Huddah Monroe painfully narrates how abusive stepdad made her despise men
Socialite Huddah Monroe’s life has not always been all glam and glitter and she took to social media to reveal her dadk childhood.
As it turns out, the socialite fans have come to love and hate in equal measure was also a victim of domestic violence at a very young age.
Taking to social media, Huddah gave a teary account of how her stepfather used to physically abuse her mother and sometimes herself.
“My stepdad used to beat my mom, sometimes in my presence. I still cannot unsee that to this day,” she narrated.
She goes on to reveal that the experiences left her bitter and she developed a loathing for men – something which she overcame with time.
“I used to hate men so much! I can’t believe I am addicted to them right now,” she went on.
The experiences took a toll on the curvy socialite, who went on life believing one did not necessarily need a role model to get through life.
Huddah is currently one of the most sought after socialite in the country, boasting over a million followers on her lucrative Instagram platform.

Speaking on her background, she revealed people were prejudice against her family simply because they did were not up to par in the social ladder.
“Also, Nobody liked us. No one wanted to be associated with us coz we were poor and they’d donate their shoes and clothes to us & leave , so we didn’t have anyone at all to look at and even wish to be like one day.”
