Extend border closure to foreign herdsmen, Ortom informs Buhari

Following consistent attacks on communities in Benue State, Guv Samuel Ortom, has attracted the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal government to extend the border closure to foreign herdsmen.
Ortom made the appeal on Monday when he checked out a female victim of ranchers attacks whose limb was cut off while working on her farm in Guma local council of the state.
Ortom said the herdsmen who allegedly have unfitted gain access to into Nigerian areas attack neighborhoods including those in Benue with arms they bear.
He also reiterated the requirement for the government to ban all types of open grazing in the nation.
While keeping in mind that Nigerians can not afford to live in fear in their own nation, he included that cattle ranches must be established for coordination and security profiling of all those keeping herds of animals.
